I've seen it at Whole Foods, though. I love regular watermelon but how different is the yellow in taste?ReplyDeleteRepliesAverylAugust 10, 2015 at 5:44 AMNot very different as far as flavor, at least not the melon I bought. But because it's so fresh, it's very crunchy and super juicy unlike the aging melon I've had from the supermarket that is sometimes mushy. I like the novelty of the color, too. : )DeleteReplyAnonymousAugust 12, 2015 at 8:41 AMHaha! I'm not sure what to think of the yellow watermelon. It does not compute in my brain as being watermelon. I felt that way when I first saw yellow cherries. It was so weird, but once I tasted them, I could care less what color they were. They were so good!RLReplyDeleteRepliesAverylAugust 12, 2015 at 8:57 AMIt shows how many of associate color with a certain flavor, myself included. I've been eating orange beets and purple carrots from the market, too. They do taste slightly different, but again a lot of it is because they are truly farm fresh. : )DeleteReplyAnonymousAugust 13, 2015 at 4:42 PMI realized that it would be good if I directed others to my update, if they are interested.
